To celebrate my birthday, I am raising $500 for Positive Wellness Alliance, a nonprofit that helps prevent the spread of HIV through community education and supports people infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Why this cause?
HIV infections are on the rise in the South, even as they decline elsewhere in the U.S. We can, and must, reverse this trend that's hitting African-American women and young people especially hard.
